The BAGAR Institute for Training of Trainers

is established by Jyoti Maheshwari Foundation, Mumbai vide permission granted by DGT (Govt. of India) primarily with the objective for the training of Crafts Instructors for Industrial Training Institutes to conduct courses under Craft Instructor Training Scheme(CITS).

Availability of trained faculties for increasing number of Industrial Training Institutes is a severe problem throughout the country. There are only few Govt. owned Instructor Training Institutes in the country, which are grossly insufficient to meet the ever increasing demand of skilled ITI Trainers.
The ITOT will help in meeting huge gap between instructor availability and requirement of trained instructors to impart quality training in ITI.

The Institute

The Institute is situated on a 10 acre campus, adjacent to Shivonkar Maheshwari Technical Institute at Bagar. It has independent buildings with workshops & labs, hostel and staff quarters. The entire cost of the Institute has been borne by Jyoti Maheshwari Foundation without any aid or loan from Govt., bank or financial institution. The sole motto of the Institute is to develop and provide skilled instructors for ITIs and help the Nation in meeting huge requirement of trained Instructors.
