About CITS :-
The Objective of the Craft Instructor Training Scheme is to train Instructor trainees in the techniques of transferring hands-on skills, in order to train semi-skilled / skilled manpower for industry. Structure of the training programme is so designed that Comprehensive training both in skills and training methodology is imparted to the instructor trainees to enable them to be conversant with techniques of transferring hands-on skills and to train skilled manpower for the industry.
These courses are conducted under the aegis of National Council for Vocational Education and Training ( NCVET ).
On successful completion of the course trainee shall be awarded National Craft Instructor Certificate ( NCIC ) by NCVET recognized by Government of India.
A candidate trained in CITS scheme can :-
- Work as instructor in Industrial Training Institutes ( ITIs )and impart efficient Skill Training.
- As a certified Instructor, He / She can Impart training under any skill development short term and long term scheme.
- Work as training coordinators in Industries for workers.
- Compete with global training in the field of vocational training.
- Prepare Written Instructional Materials (WIM) for Vocational Training.
The BAGAR Institute for Training of Trainers
is established by Jyoti Maheshwari Foundation, Mumbai vide permission granted by DGT (Govt. of India) with the objective for the training of Crafts Instructors for Industrial Training Institutes to conduct courses under Craft Instructor Training Scheme (CITS).
The Institute is situated on a 10 acre campus, adjacent to Shivonkar Maheshwari Technical Institute at Bagar. It has independent buildings with workshops & labs, hostel and staff quarters. The entire cost of the Institute has been borne by Jyoti Maheshwari Foundation without any aid or loan from Govt., bank or financial institution.
The sole motto of the Institute is to develop and provide skilled instructors for ITIs and help the Nation in meeting huge requirement of trained Instructors.
Campus location
Bagar campus is situated on the Sikar-Loharu State Highway between District Headquarter Jhunjhunu and the world renowned educational hub Pilani.
The campus can be accessed from Delhi (230 km.) by toll road via Gurgaon – Dharuhera (Jaipur highway) – Rewari-Narnaul-Chirawa-Bagar. Bus travel is around 4 hrs.
The Institute campus can be reached from Jaipur (190 km.) by toll road via Sikar-Nawalgarh-Jhunjhunu. Bus travel is around 4 hrs.
